LEGO City Hospital

LEGO City Hospital

LEGO City Hospital

With the City Hospital Set, kids can nurse ill and wounded urbanites back to health. As a part of Lego's City line, which lets younger kids imaginatively explore the devices and roles they see in our civic life, this set comes with 377 pieces and doctor, patient, and two paramedic minifigs. The main instruction booklet details hospital construction in 58 fairly simple steps. Additional instructions detail construction of the medivac helicopter and paramedic jeep in 16 and 12 steps, respectively. It seems to us that kids on the younger end of the recommended five-to-12 age range will need help following the diagrams. The completed model features helicopter with stretcher, a trauma center with intimidating medical tools, and a small paramedic jeep. The front of the playset is decorated with Lego flowers, grasses and trees. Inside the box you'll find five numbered parts bags, two flat ramp plates, molded plastic foundation, decal sheet, and three instruction booklets. Numbered parts bags make it easier to build the set in stages since the numbers correspond to discreet sections of the building diagrams. Also included is an illustrated block inventory with part numbers, in case you ever need to re-order a replacement block. --Porter B. Hall
