Star Wars Ultimate Lightsaber

Star Wars Ultimate Lightsaber

Star Wars Ultimate Lightsaber

We’re not certain whether this is how it was done among the Jedi and the Sith, whether they had to go to the trouble of actually constructing their own lightsabers. There’s no overt reference to any kind of lightsaber vendor in any of the six movies. And if there was one, would he supply both the empire and the rebels? Or would there be some sort of contractual stipulation against that? You’re free to ponder these issues as you build your own weapon by choosing a Jedi or Sith blade, a color to appear when it lights up, and a crystal, which, in the mythology of Star Wars, gives the saber its power. The kit comes with one hilt, two blades, two emitters, two caps, and three crystals. You could even take both blades and build a double-bladed saber. There aren’t endless possibilities here, leaving the kit somewhat disappointing as a construction toy but it’s a nice way of customizing your own weapon, depending whether you’re good or evil. --Charlie Williams
